Mini case studies

Here are a series of "mini-cases" or "caselets" that I wrote (sometimes with colleagues at NYU Stern and before that at the London Business School). You are welcome to use these for educational purposes provided that you distribute them as they are, that is, with the appropriate headers and credits — and free of charge.

Costs and pricing

Firm, markets and public policy

Antitrust

Industrial policy

Entertainment and sports

At this point, I don't have any teaching guide for these notes. I hope to have some in the near future. If you have any notes related to these cases, I would love to see them. Also, if you have any similar materials you would like to share with others, I will be happy to post them here. (See links below.) Finally, if you have any comments, suggestions, please send them to lcabral@stern.nyu.edu.

Additional examples and cases can be found in the website for my book Introduction to Industrial Organization.
Still more examples and cases can be found in the website for my book Economics of Entertainment.
Professor Ivan Png's Managerial Economics website includes varioius mini-cases in mangerial economics.
